“White Lies will embark on a Fall arena tour as main support for Kings of Leon kicking off September 28th following the release on Fiction Records, of their hit record To Lose My Life. The fall trek with Kings of Leon will have White Lies playing to packed crowds across the US. Prior to these dates, White Lies will be doing a few shows on their own including a headlining performance at New York City’s famed Webster Hall on September 25th and at the Austin City Limits Music Festival on October 4th. In addition, the band’s massively successful single “Death” is on the soundtrack for the film Jennifer’s Body, alongside bands including Silversun Pickups, Little Boots, and Black Kids.

This highly coveted main support slot comes on the heels of what has been nothing short of an already extremely successful year for London’s hottest newcomers. The band released their debut album To Lose My Life earlier this year and the record shot to No. 1 on the UK albums chart the week of release.”

“One glimpse is all it takes to tell you that Music Is Art is something special. You can start by judging this blog by its cover—it’s one of the best-designed, most aesthetically aware music blogs around—but there’s much more to it than just a pretty template. For one, Danielle, the “dreamer/designer” behind MIA, focuses not only on excellent music, but on art, photography and writing and how they all intersect and inform the music. By sharing the sounds and sights that inspire her, she’s inspiring a growing number of readers on a daily basis. By documenting artists’ creative processes, she’s, in the process, creating a pretty substantial, always-evolving work of art herself.” - Nerd Litter
