With each year, comes more and more genuine albums that should be recognized for every single musician’s hard work and dedication gone into making a quality record. Beginning this summer, Music Is Art will be sharing our favorite albums of the month especially by unique artists passionate to the idea of creativity, visualization, experimentation, progression and overall emotion found in their sound. It’s recommended that if you feel any other album should be associated, please be sure to email or share your suggestions below. Enjoy!

Great list Danielle! And also, a great idea, perfect month to start with as this has been one of the best in a loooong time. One I would add that I’ve been enjoying lately is Arrica Rose’s seven-song EP (does that qualify?) “Pretend I’m Fur”. Great list – very nice presentation. I agree with you on the Iron & Wine but overall, I wasn’t particularly or especially blown away by this month’s releases to be honest with you – this has been a great year for new music (but the May stuff just wasn’t to my personal taste..!) It’s hard to find issue with your hard work though – Keep up the great work!
