radiohead 2008 :: mansfield, ma

standing up at the top of the hill, looking down upon radiohead, the amazing set with these daggers of light that created their very own design and color with each different song. complimentary in rainbow shades of blood red, hazy purple, velvet green, the highlighted stage together created almost the religious look of a church with its v-shaped effect of three chandeliers that reflected lights of burning candles, above its black shadow of an invisible choir that turned into demon like ghosts that seemed to crowd around all together as if they were they there to watch over us, the band and everything else. the dirty guitars twisted and turned into brand new directions progressing into comforting levels that seemed perfectly fitting to thom’s angelic vocals that radiated more and more further into the show. the audience’s reactions seemed to only be able to just laugh at how good the performance was and at times, it seemed the only thing we could do was close our eyes and lock it in deep inside for ourselves. those in different parts of the venue had their very own wonderful visual perceptions but from my own personal view, in the middle of 20000 people, singing along to every single radiohead word for two hours, it was evident we all were there for the same reasons and had something in common.

I’ve seen them 4 times this summer. I know exactly what your talking about. The atmosphere that embodies these shows feels almost sacred. Great setlist too, I might be wrong, how to disappear, PA. There There is always incredible. Great post.

Did you record this? If so, what kind of device did you use? It sounds really good. Wolf at the door is out of order on the unzipped file.

What a delicious appetizer! We’ll be seeing them this Sunday for the full feast. I think this will be the fifth occasion we’ve seen them, and I hope to get my own photos this time.

I cannot thank you enough for uploading these songs.
To stumble upon these masterpieces has made my day, my week, my month.#
I do not wish to sound naive, pretentious even, but there is no musical force that I can seek solace in as successfully as with Radiohead.
Thank you again :)

I am really excited cause I’m going to see them at Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco. They are going to be the first to play Golden Gate park at night. I’ve tried for 13 years to see them so I am glad that this will be the first time. Thanks for the recording.

So much for the great picks and the audio. I was hoping for an FM broadcast a la Tweeter 2003, but this recording is superb. The show was relevatory, as usual. My only criticism is to the venue: Upgrade your speakers! Those are SHOT!

Hi,
Thanks for posting this concert, but I can seem to unzip it. It gets to the end of the unarchiving and just stays at the end. Is these another alternative link or someway you could repost the zip file?
