in rainbows.

the fall is my favorite time of year because of the energy i receive from it. the feeling always comes in terms that keep reminding me of another new beginning. on long windy roads amongst scattered trees, its a pleasure to closely stare out the window in hopes of finding those perfect autumn colors, but lately our country’s weather seems to be misleading the october leaves with its hot, humid summer days. much like my mind, this most beautiful season doesnt seem to know when its suppose to begin again. however fortunately for now, all those special jewel tones of reds, oranges, yellows, greens and blues appear on another path through the colorful form of audiotherapy.

radiohead‘s seventh studio album, in rainbows, easily delivers the magic and light that should always be craved in a new fall release. fresh to the ear, some of the songs we have come to know and love over these waiting years diversified themselves into interchanging watercolors. deep inside, the musical twists & turns blend within a consistent meaning that shares how patterns of emotion can create rainbows of sound. still humbled by the ability to listen and visually see the music as it was intended, its comforting to believe radiohead keep on striving as hard as they ever have.

im a moth who just wants to share your light
im just an insect trying to get out of the night
i only stick with you
because there are no others
you are all i need, you are all i need
im in the middle of your picture
lying in the reeds
all i need
its all wrong. its all right. its all wrong.

I love your photo of autumn foliage. I am from New York and always miss the Temple of Fall Color and it’s radiant palette of scarlet and gold.
