from austin, texas,  i love you but i’ve chosen darkness have an usual band name that fits well.  new wave, deep synths, shoegazing bass lines perfect their music into soothing soundscapes.  britt daniels of spoon produced their 2003 self-titled debut ep and their album,  fear is on our side, was under the influence of ministry’s producer paul barker.  i love you but i’ve chosen darkness’s style easily blends throughout their work, providing a melancholy sense that lightly translates through catchy soul drenched pop melodies  and epic guitar riffs that willfully bring you to dream.
