Canadian producer Calvin McElroy has created a solo self-titled EP under the name Kuhrye-oo. Known for being associated with acts such as Gobble Gobble, Born Gold, and Grimes, McElroy has always been an important background player to electronic and r&b grooves. His current project Kuhrye-oo’s single “Give In (For The Fame)” provides a menacing, glitchy sound that penetrates with emotive samples of vocals, and visual vibrations of feeling.
